If you are connected to the Internet, updates are downloaded and installed automatically without any need for user action. The presence of a new version on our servers is checked when the Internet connection is established, and every four hours afterwards. Please download the following file only if you really need it (e.g. if your computer does not have any Internet connection).

Update avast32 VPS
The version has now been superseded by avast! 4 Home Edition and Professional Edition; virus database updates for this Edition will cease on February 1st 2006. This download is now unsupported, users still relying on this Edition for their sole antivirus protection should upgrade to avast! 4 before February 2006 in order to maintain their antivirus protection against the latest threats.

Update TMD

TMD form of updates should be used for automatic updates in large networks. Now we also offer the database updates at least twice a week! The VPU updates are supported since July 2000 version of AVAST32 and they replace the previous TMD VPS updates.
